Australia's best graduate employers in 2020
Each year, the Top 100 Graduate Employers report examines the state of the workforce for recent graduates. Published by the Australian Financial Review in partnership with GradConnection, the report shows which industries are popular among graduates and the strong areas of job opportunity.
Notable leaps up the list are Arup, who ranked at 16 up from 61 last year. NAB placed 8th up from 22nd, and the Queensland Government ranked at 17 up from 38 in 2019. Telstra dropped from 13th to 42nd, and Jacobs slid down to 35th place after raking at 19th last year.
This year’s top two graduate employers maintain their position from last year, with Deloitte taking the top spot and PwC placing second. In fact, all of the Big Four accounting firms placed in the top five, which the report states is ‘possibly because of the range of skills and flexibility they offer’. Three of the Big Four Banks placed in the top 10.
