The Good Careers Guide is now available for purchase after selling out in record time following its May launch.

A brand-new resource in 2016, the Guide is an invaluable career-planning tool containing in-depth and up-to-date information on more than 400 occupations, as well as the steps required to pursue them.

In addition to these comprehensive job descriptions, it includes useful information about:

starting the career journey
exploring education and training pathways
funding study and training
getting a job.

In line with the federal government’s continued focus on STEM — science, technology, engineering and mathematics — it also provides a special feature on opportunities within these disciplines and where relevant studies may lead. Science and technological innovation certainly isn’t going anywhere, so it’s crucial that students and jobseekers understand the breadth of STEM study and how far it could take them. The Guide, available as a print publication, website and digital e-book, is complemented by an interactive mobile application — Good Education AR. Using augmented reality, Good Education AR offers a range of interactive elements. This includes videos, ‘Career Ladders’ demonstrating careers in STEM and an easy-to-use aptitude test assisting students and jobseekers to investigate their interests and next steps in their career exploration journey.
