The best universities to study Law in 2021
Law offers the opportunity for intellectual absorption and career preparation. In addition to being a lawyer, there is no question that law offers diverse career opportunities, with employers ranging from accounting firms and government departments to banks and big businesses.
A law degree requires many hours of studying and reading legal tomes dedicated to many compulsory subjects. Law usually takes around five years to complete and may be offered as a double degree, giving students a broad education that can be applied in several fields.
There are 490 undergraduate degrees in Law listed on The Good Universities Guide course search. We looked at which ones performed best in overall experience, graduate salary and skills development.
This rating looks at the proportion of students who were satisfied with the overall quality of their educational experience. The University of Adelaide took the top spot with a satisfaction rate of 89.5%, followed by University of Wollongong, which scored 88.6%.
This rating compares the median salary of graduates from different universities. Charles Darwin University ranked highest with a median graduate salary of $80,000 followed by University of New England (UNE), with a median graduate salary of $75,200.
This rating looks at the proportion of students who were satisfied with the skill development they experienced through their studies. The highest-ranked university is Bond University with a satisfaction rate of 92.5%, followed by Edith Cowan University, which scored 91.6%.
